About the oil: Ashwagandha

Withania somnifera, commonly known as ashwagandha, Indian ginseng, poisonous gooseberry, or winter cherry. Ashwagandha is a plant of the nightshade family, commonly used as an herb in Ayurvedic medicine.
The species name somnifera in Latin means "sleep-inducing". The name, ashwagandha, is a combination of the Sanskrit words ashva, meaning horse and gandha, meaning fragrance, reflecting that the root has a strong horse-like smell.
The main phytochemical components are withanolides - which are triterpene lactones - withanolides, vitaferin A, alkaloids, steroid lactones, tropin and cuscohydrin. About 40 withanolides, 12 alkaloids, and numerous sieveindosides have been isolated. Withanolides are structurally similar to the Panax ginsenosides, leading to the common name of W. somnifera, "Indian ginseng." Ashwagandha has been used for centuries in traditional Indian medicine.

The oil is sold as a raw material.

Natural oils can sensitize you, so before using it in perfumes, you should test a small amount of the oil on your skin for at least 24 hours, if there is no reaction, you can use it for the production of perfume or toilet water.
