In the perfume industry. It is an important ingredient in oriental perfume compositions. often combined with carnation, rose, jasmine, iris, magnolia, orchid, peach, ylang, it is the spicy-floral main note of women's compositions. In oriental male compositions, cinnamon is a component of the main spicy (with clove, jasmine, geranium, heliotropin), floral and spicy (with clove, rose, jasmine, lily of the valley, ylang), spicy and woody notes (with clove, cedarwood, sandalwood, patchwork) , jasmine, geranium). In fougere and chypre compositions, cinnamon is an additive that enriches the base note with an oriental element.
Cinnamon essential oil gives the fragrance to cosmetics. The skin after treatments with its participation is firm, smooth, tense and elastic. Thanks to its warming properties, it improves skin tension and elasticity and improves blood flow and metabolism. The aromatic spice is also perfect for foot care. Cinnamon bark extract reduces the secretion of sebum and regulates the bacterial flora of the skin. The oil should be diluted for use on the skin.

To be used correctly oil concentrates should be diluted in proportions to produce perfumes.

Dosage:

The most durable perfume extracts contain up to 40% of oils (usually 25%).

ESDP (Esprit de Parfum) contain 15-30% oils.

EDP Eau de Parfum contain 12-25% oils

Eau de Toilette (EDT) contain 6-18% oils

Colognes contain about 5-7% oils.

Aftershaves contain 2-4%.

Refreshing waters, i.e. mists - up to 5%.

To create your own perfume or aromatic water, you should mix the oil compositions with alcohol, usually 80%, and leave it in a dark place for at least 3 weeks. It is advisable to shake the perfume bottle at least once a day in order to better mix the oil with alcohol.

After 3 weeks, the perfume is ready for use.

Oils can sensitize you, so before using it in perfumes, you should test a small amount of the oil on your own skin for at least 24 hours, if there is no reaction, you can use it for the production of perfume or toilet water.
