DIHYDROMYRCENOL XPP7017
Dihydromyrcenol is a compound with a pleasant citrus aroma that can be used in many products and at relatively high levels. From cosmetics to all-purpose cleaners and gentle fragrances, it has a strong, complex fragrance. It enhances aromatic notes in especially citrus compositions, especially lime, lemon, and can be used in a large percentage of the base oil or composition.
Great for masking strong odors of base products, such as alcohol, or DPG
Aroma: fresh, lime-like, citrus-floral and slightly sweet with a slight hint of terpene, lavender notes, and cologne.
Very strong, fresh, clean citrus aroma with notes of bergamot, lime, lavender. It contains so many fragrance possibilities that it is used in all types of perfumes. A must-have ingredient for a modern perfumer. Adds projection and color to the top and middle notes.
This compound shows a certain propensity to polymerize, thereby losing odor and increasing viscosity. When added with an appropriate inhibitor, it is quite stable against this behavior.
Useful in soap perfumes and as a strong support note for lime oils in citrus fragrances.
It belongs to a very small group of compounds that have typical lime notes but are not hydrocarbons.
It introduces fresh and strong diffusive notes to flower bases, lily of the valley, lily, lilac, hyacinth, etc. and creates interesting blends with rose scents.
