It goes well with floral notes, white flowers, lavender, oils from the citrus family, sandalwood, sweet notes, powdery, but also with cinnamon or anise.

Lilium auratum is one of the true lilies. It is native to Japan and is sometimes called the golden-eyed lily or the golden-strand lily.
In perfumery, it is used in floral, sweet vanilla and powder perfumes. it is an exceptionally successful combination with mint.
It has delicate flower petals, therefore the oil is obtained only by extraction with a solvent, rather, lily flowers are never distilled.
It is popular as the main ingredient of noble perfumes and eau de toilette.

To use oil concentrates to produce perfumes

The most durable perfume extract contains up to 40% of oils (usually 25%).

ESDP (Esprit de Parfum) waters contain 15-30% oils.

EDP ​​Eau de Parfum contains 12-25% aromatics.

The colognes contain about 5-7% of oils.

aftershave - 2-4%.

Refreshing waters, i.e. mists - up to 5%.

To make your own perfume or toilet water, mix the oil compositions with alcohol, usually 80%, and leave it in a dark place for a minimum of 3 weeks. It is advisable to shake the perfume bottle at least once a day in order to better mix the oil with the alcohol.

After 3 weeks, the perfume is ready for use.



Natural oils can sensitize you, so before using it in perfumes, you should test a small amount of the oil on your own skin for at least 24 hours, if there is no reaction, you can use it for the production of perfume or toilet water.
