Pink lotus absolute is a beautiful addition to precious natural perfumes and body oils. It has a very rich, floral aroma that is creamy sweet, with a spicy green top, ripe fruit and coumarin undertones, and a strong, slightly spicy, earthy richness of dryness. The pink lotus absolute is slightly similar to the white lotus but is slightly sweeter and slightly more refined, definitely stronger. Even the highly diluted fragrance of Pink Lotus Absolute retains its impeccable fragrance.

The ancient Egyptians considered the lotus a sacred flower, symbolizing the sun and creation, thus having the power of regeneration; it was often depicted in upper Egyptian hieroglyphics and art.1,2 This particular species of lotus, Nelumbo nucifera, was brought to Egypt from Persia3 and is now grown in India and around the world in tropical basins.

This divine aquatic plant can bloom in stunningly clear ponds or the darkest muddy marshes, and then, with dignified grace and serenity, unfold its iconic petals on which the Buddha sits. When used in Ayurvedic practice, Hindus consider the lotus sacred that "its exquisite fragrance invokes silence, clarity and devotion to the mind."

To use oil concentrates to produce perfumes

To make your own perfume or toilet water, mix the oil compositions with alcohol, usually 80%, and leave it in a dark place for a minimum of 3 weeks. It is advisable to shake the perfume bottle at least once a day in order to better mix the oil with the alcohol.

After 3 weeks, the perfume is ready for use.



Natural oils can sensitize you, so before using it in perfumes, you should test a small amount of the oil on your own skin for at least 24 hours, if there is no reaction, you can use it for the production of perfume or toilet water.
