100% NATURAL ABSOLUTE OIL
VETIVER ABSOLUT
Latin name Vetiveria zizaniodes
NATURAL OIL CONCENTRATE
Method of production: Absolutes are obtained by solvent extraction method.

Vetiver grass is put into a reactor and poured over a few hours with a hot organic solvent: hexane or petroleum ether. These substances evaporate very quickly and have a lower boiling point than water. The essential oil and ballast components such as waxes, resins, dyes are rinsed out, then the extract is distilled to separate the solvent. Then an intermediate product called concrete is obtained, which is in the form of a dark, thick paste with a very intense odor. The specific is then dissolved in high-percentage ethyl alcohol, which dissolves only the fragrances and not the gums and waxes. Finally, the solution is cooled and filtered, as a result of which the precipitated ballast substances remain on the filters, while the clear solution is concentrated, i.e. ethanol is distilled off and finally the so-called absolute is obtained. It is a ready ingredient with an extremely intense odor, in the form of a mostly clear, thin, sometimes viscous liquid, sometimes crystallizing, which, when diluted with alcohol, forms clear solutions.

Thanks to this method of obtaining absolutes, they reflect the natural smell of the plant more faithfully and fully than essential oils. It is the most concentrated oil known. Since obtaining them is a long and tedious activity, absolutes are expensive products.

They are a perfect ingredient of luxurious perfumes and fragrances used to impart the fragrance of art. cosmetic.

VETIVER ABSOLUTE

Absolutes are essential oils obtained by solvent extraction.

Vetiver (vetiver) is a tall, tropical grass originating in India. In Poland, its botanical name is scented vetiver

The common name of vetiver comes from the English language, which in turn took the word from Tamil.

Vetiver absolute is used primarily in perfumery, especially in men's perfumes and toilet waters.

Due to the complex chemical composition of vetiver, there is currently no synthetic substitute. Natural vetiver is attractive enough to appear in

perfumes of many well-known commercial and niche brands.

Natural oils can sensitize you, so before using it in perfumes, you should test a small amount of the oil on your own skin for at least 24 hours, if there is no reaction, you can use it for the production of perfume or toilet water.
