AMBER BROWN is a sticky oil with smoky, resinous, leathery, tarry, wood-dry notes and a hint of pine and balsamic accent. It is not sweet at all, but, when used in small amounts, it makes a unique and interesting note in any natural perfume composition.
Amber Brown Oil comes from the resin of the Himalayan fossil tree. It is produced by a process known as "dry distillation", in which the amber resin is processed at high temperature into an oily aromatic substance. It has its own strong aroma but is also an excellent fixative and base.
