Cardamom
The cardamom essential oil is obtained by steam distillation from the seeds of the fruits harvested before they are ripe. Cardamom oil has a sweet, spicy aroma.
It goes well with: bergamot, cumin, cedar, cinnamon, cloves, coriander, galbanum, geranium, juniper, labdanum, lemon, myrtle, neroli, orange, pine, rose, verbena, ylang ylang.
In perfumes, cardamom essential oil gives a spiciness, but also a warm, sweet note that goes well with floral bases.
