100% NATURAL ESSENTIAL OIL - NATURAL CAMPHOR
Camphor is an organic chemical compound belonging to the group of terpenes that is obtained from camphor cinnamon wood. Pure camphor is in solid form. It has a white color and a very intense fragrance. It should be stored in a package, as it sublimates at room temperature and changes its form from a solid to a gas. It is this property that made camphor appear in the proverb "to disappear like camphor" quoted above.

Most commonly, however, it appears in the form of camphor oil, ubiquitous on the market. This oil is obtained from the extraction of natural camphor. However, it can also be produced synthetically, using pinene.

Camphor oil includes, among others, camphor, terpenes, pinene, alcohol, borneol, camphene, and safrole. The mixture of these substances is responsible for the characteristic, strong smell of camphor, which in turn is the reason for its use in aromatherapy and the production of perfumes.
